One of the best selling android tablets on the market, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, it’s expected to arrive in India by the end of July.
Why does it sell so good? The Taiwanese company set the price of the android tablet very low, hitting $399 for 16GB version and $499 for the 32GB one. Asus increases it’s earnings by selling the dedicated keyboard dock which costs $150. No Wi-Fi + 3G Transformer has been released yet and the price of the Wi-Fi only version is expected to be under Rs. 20k.
Asus is also working on their next generation tablet, Transformer 2 which is expected to be released in October. It will be powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 Kal-El Process on top of which Android Ice Cream Sandwich (2.4 / 4.0) will run. Other two tablets are expected to be released soon as well, Asus Eee Pad Slider and Memo.
